Motorcycle riders come to blows by the side of track after crashing out during grand prix

July 15th, 2014

Competition was so feirce at the German Grand Prix at the Sachsenring today that these two riders came to blows.

The trackside fight happened after Moto3 racer Bryan Schouten crashed heavily on a corner after colliding with his Dutch compatriot Scott Deroue.

But instead of waiting for medics, or checking to see if his countryman was injured, Schouten, who rides for Mahindra, instead charged Kalex KTM racer Deroue.

The pair were then seeing tussling and throwing punches at one another, before medics and track officials were able to pull them apart.

The pair were competing in round nine of the 18-race season. The race was won by Australian Jack Miller.
