Deadline for Proposals March 3, 2010
IRVINE, Calif., Jan. 9, 2010 - The Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) in conjunction with co-organizer Industrie-Verband Motorrad Deutschland e.V. (IVM) have issued a call for papers to be considered for presentation at the 8th ifz-International Motorcycle Safety Conference to be held in Cologne, Germany on Oct. 4-5, 2010.
Papers for consideration must be submitted to the Istitut fur Zweiradsicherheit e. V. (info@ifz.de) by March 3, 2010 and should address one or more of the following topics:
Abstracts should be no more than 250 words and include author/authors, affiliation, final title, starting point for investigation, methods, results and impact / effects / consequences. For more information send email to info@ifz.de.
The 2010 ifz-8th International Motorcycle Safety Conference will take place just prior to the 7th International Motorcycle and Scooter Exhibition – IMTERMOT Cologne 2010.
The MSF sits on the ifz-Conference steering committee and has been co-organizing this important international safety conference since 1996.
The Motorcycle Safety Foundation promotes rider safety through rider training systems, operator licensing tests and public information programs. The MSF works with the federal government, state agencies, the military, and others to offer training for all skill levels so riders can enjoy a lifetime of safe, responsible motorcycling. Standards established by the MSF have been internationally recognized since 1973.
