Riders For A Rare Disease

The Riders For A Rare Disease will start at Applebees in Garfield, New Jersey and will end at American Legion in Rochelle Park, New Jersey on October 12th, 2013.

Registration:
-$20 per rider
-$10 per passenger
-$20 walk-ins for BBQ Bash
-Children 10 and under FREE

Rain date is October 13th, 2013. The cost includes coffee at registration, a full police escorted ride, all you can eat food and non-alcoholic drinks at the BBQ, $10 all you can drink beer (wristbands sold with ID), children’s entertainment, vendors, live music by band Second Contact, photo ops with Hooters Girls, & more! All Proceeds will go to Jason & Justin Leider’s Trust Fund. Help Jason & Justin Have a Chance. Jason and Justin Leider of Elmwood Park NJ have been diagnosed with a RARE and FATAL genetic disease.  Hunter Syndrome affects less than 350 children in the US. Sadly enough the devastating effects of the disease will take control of their little lives resulting in their passing between 10 and 15 years.  This disease literally eats away at all of their organs, muscles, joints, and brain, leaving them unable to walk, talk, and eat.  Every week is spent receiving a 4-5 hour intravenous medication to help some organs from failing too soon; they go to countless doctor appointments, as well as have to travel to North Carolina every 3 months.  Please Help Jason and Justin have a chance. Jason and Justin’s Journey was set up to support unexpected medical expenses, help these little boys enjoy life to the fullest, and help find a cure.
