The Broward County Chapter Nam Knights MC and Chester’s Harley Davidson have joined forces to raise money and support this awesome effort. Now, we ask you to join us. We need 200 Bikers to make this happen. Need a place to stay Saturday night. La Quinta Inns & Suites, 13651 NW 2nd St Sunrise, FL 33325 954-846-1200 5 minutes from Chester’s HD. Food, Vendors, 50/50 and live entertainment! Band: Mr. “Nice Guy”!  

One and half hour ride escorted by the Broward Sheriff’s Office. Ride will take place throughout Broward County. We need your help! Broward Sheriff Deputy Chad Amara and his wife Christina’s son Ethan has been diagnosed with a dangerous form of juvenile diabetes, which requires injections and around-the-clock monitoring of his blood sugar levels. If Ethan sugar levels drop too low, or rises too high, it could become a potentially fatal condition. In addition to treatment, the family is in need of a specially trained service animal called a Diabetic Alert Dog (DAD), which is costly, but a much-needed potential life saver. Deputy Amara is seeking to obtain a DAD from the Texas company Drey's Alert Dogs for his son’s condition. These service animals are trained from birth to take action and recognize when a person suffering from diabetes has an episode of their sugar becoming out of balance. In addition to the cost of more than $25,000 for the animal, the family must also travel to Texas to go through complete training with the dog.
