Kars & Kruisin for Kids

The Kars & Kruisin' for Kids will be held in Indianapolis, Indiana on June 14th, 2014.

ADESA Auto Auctions has a car show benefit every year and ALL proceeds are donated to the
Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation JDRF.
This year however, we have added a motorcycle ride (The Sugar Ride) kick stands up @ 11:00 am.
The ride is a 60 mile escorted run from H/D of Indianapolis to ADESA in Plainfield IN.
FREE breakfast FREE lunch and FREE t-shirts with registration. Cars show Bike show awards @ 2:30 pm
This is a worthy cause.
Type1 Diabetes can just all of a sudden strike kids with out any warning they can be playing out side one day and be in ICU the next. Imagine trying to teach you child how live with needles and shots everyday.
JDRF has made progress of late, things like the insulin pump, kidney research, beta cell encapsulation, artificial pancreas systems just to name a few. Although the name says “Juvenile” the research is beneficial to adults with type 1 diabetes also.
