| DESCRIPTION | The 5th Annual - SPC Matthew Pollini Memorial Motorcycle Run will be held at 772nd Military Police Company’s Armory in Taunton, Massachusetts on August 15th, 2015. Location: -772nd Military Police Company’s Armory in Taunton, Massachusetts Registration: -$20 per rider and $10 per passenger and non-riders This run is in honor of SPC Matthew Pollini, a 21 year old Rockland resident, who was killed in the line of duty while serving in Al Kut, Iraq with the Massachusetts National Guard 772nd Military Police Company on January 22, 2009. We raise money to support organizations that provide assistance to those affected by natural or man made disasters, in Matthews name… This is organized by those who were there with him and by his side while he passed on that night in January. Please come in his honor and help us never forget the sacrifice he made to protect his family as well as his country… tons of activities after the run for all ages, kids to adults! Even if you choose not to ride a motorcycle!! Immediately following the run we will host a dj, Boston Police and Taunton Police K-9 Demonstration, bouncy house, face painting, go cart track, inflatable sports station, and a display of current and active military armored humvees, ASVs, and other vehicles! we’ll have hamburgers/hot dogs, and beverages along with a 50/50 raffle all held in the parking lot of the Taunton National Guard Armory. Please make checks payable to: “Greater Worcester Community Foundation—Matthew Pollini Memorial Fund” The “Matthew Pollini Memorial Fund” was created by the members of Matthew’s squad while deployed to Iraq.
