| DESCRIPTION | The 19th Annual Highway 41 Toy Convoy and Show will start at the Raiders Academy in Manchester, Tennessee on November 1st, 2015. Location: -Starts at Raiders Academy in Manchester, TN (865 McMinnville Hwy, Manchester, TN 37355) Registration: -$10 entry fee per vehicle for convoy -Or $20 if you want to show your ride The convoy is the only event of its type in middle Tennessee that invites ALL vehicles large and small that will roll 50 mph safely. There will be hot rods and classic cars, motorcycles, truck jeeps and 4 x 4s and the Halls Mills Outlaws will be here with their rat rods. Celebrating 19 years, the Highway 41 Toy Convoy is the longest running event of its type in middle Tennessee. The purpose of the convoy is to help brighten Christmas for the children in our area who can't help themselves. Participants are asked to bring a new unwrapped toy. All showvehicles would register at the school. The convoy will travel with a police escort from Manchester along Highway 55 to Tullahoma, turning north on Jackson Street, past the mall and over to Atlantic and back downtown to Daddy Billy's. Several blocks will be closed off for the event where the Motorcycle- car- truck- 4 x 4 and rat rod classes will take place. Virgil T and Friends will be rocking the afternoon away and a lot of door prizes given away to the participants. Trophies will be presented to the winners of the show. There will be a Young at heart award, Most patriotic vehicle and Long distance participant awards also given. We also hear that Aaron's Rentals will be donating a large raffle prize at the convoy. We have folks planning to make the run from the Louisville, KY area this yearand possibly South Carolina. And let's not forget Santa will be in town early to visit with the kids. Everyone is asked to fly the AMERICAN flag to salute our military. I'd like to thank everyone who has contributed in one way or the other for your help in keeping the convoy rolling. Without your help, I couldn't do it alone, states Katy Ishee, organizer of the convoy. Toys will be distributed by the Coffee Co Sheriff's Dept, Manchester PD, Tullahoma Fire Dept., and Bedford Co Sheriff's Dept.
